As a devoted mom of two young children, I understand that our kids are the center of every parents' world. Parents are the first and most influential teachers in a child's life and their involvement in children's education is essential.
Children deserve a simple unadulterated childhood – I believe we need to ensure that schools are places to excel in ACADEMICS, NOT forums for activism. We also need to support our TEACHERS.

BACK TO THE BASICS
Move focus to core subjects like reading, writing, mathematics and science
Advocate for smaller classroom sizes and more teacher supports
Advocate for the removal of ideologies and political bias from the school curriculum
Advocate for greater safety measures to ensure curriculum is vetted and appropriate for school age
Uphold the rights of parents and the nurturing and active role they play in their child’s education
Advocate for safe spaces for biological females and reflected in policy (sports and bathroom policy)
Create a culture of collaboration, transparency and partnership between parents and educators
