RPS Overview
The Regina Public School Board, officially known as Regina School Division No. 4 of Saskatchewan, is one of the largest school divisions in the province. It serves the educational needs of over 26,000 students across 44 public elementary schools, 8 public high schools, and 3 faith-based associate schools. Additionally, it includes Campus Regina Public and the Allan Blakeney Adult Campus.
Regina Public Schools' Board of Trustees are elected through a public vote, held every four years. The next general election will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Election Years
The Regina Public Schools' Board of Trustees is elected through a public vote every four years. The next general election is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2024.
Election Process
Board members are elected based on seven subdivisions, which differ from the wards used for electing city councillors. Each voter can cast a ballot for one candidate from the list of those running in their respective subdivision. The Board of Education will be composed of the winning candidates from each subdivision. The Regina Public School Board holds public meetings at 5:30 PM on the third Tuesday of each month when school is in session. These meetings are open to the public and provide an opportunity for community members to stay informed and engaged with the board's activities. Meeting agendas are published on the Friday before each meeting, and minutes are posted after they are approved at subsequent meetings.
