RCSD Overview

The Regina Catholic School Division serves nearly 13,000 students, making it the fourth largest school division in Saskatchewan. The division operates 33 schools, including 26 elementary schools, five of which offer French Immersion programs, and one Special Education school for medically fragile students. Additionally, there are four high schools, three of which provide French Immersion programs, and one that focuses on trades.

The division also includes a unique Kindergarten to Grade 12 alternative school, the only one of its kind in Regina. Furthermore, the division offers an online learning program, Learning Online, which provides over 40 courses for students in grades 9 to 12.

Regina Catholic School' Board of Trustees are elected through a public vote, held every four years. The next general election will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Election Years

The Regina Public Schools' Board of Trustees is elected through a public vote every four years. The next general election is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Election Process

Board members are elected based on seven subdivisions, which differ from the wards used for electing city councillors. Each voter can cast a ballot for one candidate from the list of those running in their respective subdivision. The Board of Education will be composed of the winning candidates from each subdivision.   • Public Board Meetings are typically held at 5:00 pm in the Board Room of the Catholic Education Centre, unless otherwise posted. Learn more

  • In-person attendance at Public Board meetings now requires pre-registration by members of the public. Attendees must sign in and show photo identification. Learn more
